Linksys Router with Xbox Live?
I've had my Xbox 360 connected to my Linksys WRT54G2 router for some time and I havent had many problems with it (besides the occasional lag and randomly be expelled from the party). 2 of my friends recently got Xbox Live and have not been able to play with them (Ive only been been able to send messages, we can not even chat). They have not had any problems with other friends on Xbox Live, besides me. So Im guessing that its my connection not leave the party for us baseball ect. I do not know much about routers so Im turning to Yahoo. If anyone knows what to do please help. Im connected through an Ethernet cable (not wireless). It says my NAT is open as well. Im guessing that has to do with port forwarding, but I really do not know what Im you do in that area. Any ideas?
Do a search with the router with portforwarding. There are a couple of websites that explain it. I own this router, but have not set it yet (waiting for Comcast) I hope I have the same problem.
