linksys wireless router network setup
How can I configure my Linksys WRT54G as a wireless access point for my Xbox?

I set my old WRT54GS in my entertainment center and connect it to my Xbox so he can go online and use Xbox Live without running a long ethernet cable throughout the house. I will be using a Linksys router as the main WRT54GX my home network. It will be connected to my PC and my laptop and the Wii connects wirelessly. All I know do. I do not know is this: you can configure the old GS router to Receive / transmit wireless access to my Xbox in this network? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Of course, connect to the site Xbox Live web search and port number (88 and 3074, it seemed that for you) and then access your router from your computer and make sure the port is not blocked, then turn the Xbox and allow automatic configuration. If that fails, remove all IP addresses and DNS Information screen computer where you are connected to the router, and switch to manual mode in the Xbox console and type of all that manually. Should work after that.
