What an item requires a Mac to get Apple's AirPort wireless connection Linksys router?
I have a Linksys WRT54G router which is shared by pc and I will be getting a MacBook soon and I wonder if I have to purchase an item from the apple airport to connect to the Linksys router.
All Mac notebooks include built new Apple Airport Extreme, which are fancy words for Apple for 802.11 b / g / n. Any regular non-wireless router should have no problem connecting to the MacBook. In fact, I used the Linksys router has a pair of G5 and two MacBook without any problems at all. Stations AirPort and AirPort Express Base are basically fancy Apple routers. Some good things are allowed but not necessary to connect the MacBook to any wireless network. Enjoy your MacBook and the answer is right, there will be significant improvements to the line in September so you might want to wait to be the hottest model or a super-business in the current model!
