I can not connect to my Linksys network (-G) using a Linksys Wireless Notebook Adapter (with SRX 400)?

I have an HP laptop running XP (Home Edition). I have a Linksys Wireless-G Notebook Adapter with SRX 400. I have a Linksys router (Standard-G). My problem – which have not been able to connect to my network for a couple of weeks. I connect to the network of a friend, who, of course, is far beyond my router. What I have tried: 1) reinstalling the wireless card software (and hardware) 2) only using Windows to configure wireless network 3) only through the Linksys Configuration Utility to configure the wireless network. Both Windows and Linksys Configs have not been able to see / read my network. I want to connect to my network so you can return to the following rules: 1) With a strong power of the signal 2) with a constant wireless connection (it falls all the time with the current settings) 3) be able to go anywhere on my property through the network also just reconfigured my IP address (ipconfig / reset) – still no luck

If other computers can not connect to your wireless router, get a new one. They do not. I'd like to get a LinkSys first again. if you buy at Staples, you can return it within 14 days without any questions. Just keep your receipt.
