Number of Internet connection wirelessly with Mac PowerBook and Linksys router?
I have a PowerBook Mac OS X (3.9). I've always connected wireless Internet through my Linksys router (Wireless Access Point B, Wap Model 11). Comcast now for my Internet use. When installing my internet was created to be wired. Now that my router is all ready, I can not get my wireless to work. Currently, I use the wireless Internet in the area of other no problem. In those cases, I do nothing, just turn on the computer and connects automatically. But not in my apartment. I * that * the problem is somewhere in the area IP address? If I look at my settings from the airport and go to the TCP / IP tab, there is no information given on the screen. Meaning, in the area of meaning, in the area where it says IP address, subnet mask and router, no data on the list, only empty gray space. I can choose to enter data manually DHCP I do not know if this is the right way forward. Help ?????
When in gray means that you configure all these things for you, usually is the best way forward. But yes, a Mac thrown into the mix I'm not sure. You may want to consider offering the Mac its own set of intellectual property and Numbers DCHP.
