/ Modem Router Issues. Help please!?
I have a westell modem that transmits a wireless signal, but is not considered a router. I bought a Linksys wireless router yesterday. I have everything connected right and follow the onscreen instructions to install it. When she got there on the disk tryed to "recognize the router on my computer, never found it and said it was a mistake. The router broadcasts a signal, but only our local network, no Internet. What is the problem. Thank you so much!
To configure the router, you must have a PC connected to it with a network cable. After creation, you can remove and then connect either wirelessly.
