How do I connect my Linksys Wireless Router Dial-Up (PeoplePC )?????? I do not use a phone line, Ethernet —?
Each guide installation and have found uses broadband or DSL. I know I've bought a wireless broadband router, but I read that people can make it work with Dial-up. Can someone please help? 1) No Internet connection with the router when the phone line plugged in (I assume it is correct ;???)
DSL operates on different frequencies than dial-up. Depends on the modem you have, but almost none of them worth with Dial-Up. Yes, it's the same connection, but the hardware is completely different. As if spliced a cable modem to a phone jack, you could not get telephone access to that.
