A router Linksys Wireless-G Broadband to extend the signal?
I live in an area where they say that Wi-Fi is not available, but the building of the beside me, I can connect through your sign, so I guess that I'm getting wireless signal is broadband. My Delima is that I I move my laptop from my bedroom, without losing the signal. Can I connect a Linksys Wireless-G router to my laptop in the room and then take another laptop capable wireless to another area of the house and gather the signal. In reply to GTB in the first place I'm stealing this sense, if u will notice that I said I can use this connection. Secondly, I pay for Internet services, $ 70.00 per month, but this connection is much faster than what I do with ATT. Just didn't think U need all personal information to answer a simple question. But thanks anyway.
you do not need a router unless you plan on getting to the Internet yourself, but if they allow to obtain the signal from the next door then get a wifi antenna and point, int hat direction, and must collect the fine the signal. You can obtain a wide wifi extender similar tot he one int link.
