I need help configuring a Linksys WRE54G range expander?
All my systems are WinXP home edition and I'm Tring to install this Linksys expander.First of all who do not seem to detect the Linksys wireless router itself, even in the same room. I know the router works, I'm just trying to get the Range Expander to extend my range. The drivers seem to be on my laptop picks up the signal ok.Laptop expansion, but not an Internet signal. I've been told that XP does not always work to enjoy. I guess I need to enter the expanding menu and enter my ISP number? I do not know, but it's been more longer time than I care to buy an expander trying.Even second thinking you have a bad or a t reset.Don not 'really want a computer to come sort out my house as the mileage will be the only pricey.Thanx a million who figures this out …
