linksys wireless router errors
im having problems connecting to my Linksys wireless router using my Dell Inspiron 1501?

i cannot connect to a linksys router my roommate. My roommate has windows XP and have Windows Vista. In the house of my parents, my laptop connected to our main PC (which ran Vista too) and had the same Linksys connected (a WRT54G) just fine. every time i enter the WEP key sez error could not connect to the network, but wen he ran a cable to the back the Linksys and tried to connect wirelessly, said the password is incorrect. my roommate connects perfectly to the router. Can someone please help

Change the WEP key in Vista: 1. Click the Start button 2. Click Network in the rightmost column in the start menu 3. Click Network Center from the horizontal menu bar 4. Click reorder wireless networks 5. Double-click the wireless network you wish to edit 6. Click the Security tab, 7. Change the type of encryption and network security 8 key. Click OK If your WPA router can have it to that change and you should be able to connect easily.
