Problems with Linksys router?
This is a Wireless-G Router model: WRTG54 V6 Problem: The connection speed is not stable, ranging from 1 Mbps to 54 Mbps standard. Router, but sometimes disconnected from the signal is "excellent." Direct connection to the Internet via modem is working perfectly and cable connection through router works perfectly. I have tried my laptop wireless card on several other networks. No problem. Tried other network cards wireless my problem and the problem continued. I tried: Powercycling router and a modem, update firmware, wireless router to another area, completely restored the router and reconfigurig it. Anyone have any ideas, before breaking and calling Linksys? I've had my router for over a year
I had my router for more a year, is dit so on, thus changing the channel on the configuration to another. Also make sure you have a filter on the phone and DSL line. I changed mine to channel 11, email if you have more problems
