Linksys Wireless-B router help?
ok, I have a Linksys Wireless-B router used. I have the set up installation CD. All values are in the default configuration, but more on that later. I connected properly to the cable modem and all lights are working. In my laptop I get on the internet for about 2 minutes, and then "Can not Connect To Server page appears, but I'm still connected to the linksys router, but not receive any parcels. 1 minute later, it loses the connection to the router all together. Its also linked to a computer, connection equipment lasts 10-20 minutes and then broken "can not connect to server". When I try to access the page 192.168.1.1 goes to the same and a password screen appears. I left blank the user name and password to enter admin. It works, but when I try to change something or go to another tab, the password screen appears again. This time, when I enter the admin password will not do so. Just back again immediately after entering.
turn off the PC and modem. unplug the router while holding down the reset button and then power it back up (still holding down the reset button). When all the lights blink in unison (a 15-20 seconds), release the reset button. Wait 30 seconds then turn off the router. When this is done, turn the modem and wait until it says ready, then turn on the router, then turn on the PC. All passwords are gone and the router will be at factory default. Check the cables, seems you have a bad cat-5 patch cable.
