How do I stop my cordless phone interfere with my wireless router?

He spread spectrum 2.4 GHz Cordless Phone autoselects channel that increasingly clear to use the phone and no way to change the channel manually. I also have a linksys 2.4 GHz wireless router. Using wireless phone makes my wifi useless 9 times out of 10. I tried to change the channel wireless routers (possible values are 1.11 I believe), but that does not solve the problem. Does anyone know what I do to prevent this interference?

Each device uses the same frequency band (as do garage door opener, baby monitors, webcams, ….). You can change the frequency bands for one or the other. Use a phone 5MHz, or a marching band 5MHz WiFi (802.11). Reduce relative signal intensity seen by the 802.11b / g things you have. Move the phone to the other side of the house. Move your laptop (or whatever) closer to leaving the phone in the same place … Add an antenna (probably a corner reflector (chicken wire material can be a perfectly reasonable) for the rubber duck type antenna design more commonly) on both ends of the WiFi connection (you may not have physically crack radios at each end, but keep in mind that Dodge increases the signal strength in one direction (not the same for the sensibility of the receiver). Since both the telephone (s) and mobile WiFi device (a laptop, probably) is mobile, this is not universally appropriate any Dodge. Finding a way to reduce the signal strength phone (probably not possible at rates not techie) unless it is possible to say, to absorb or reflect Soemer the material between the phone and the Wi-Fi radio. An experimental bronze aluminum casing wall, perhaps. It should work well if you can keep the two types of radio out of reach of others effectively. Can not be possible in some types of interior environments. consult with officials before trying something like this. Other Dodge Ito trying to arrange for WiFi antennas polarizatino a difference of 90 degrees to the phone antennas (as is typically used if you have extensive adolescents, this may not be predictable). Given that both devices work (or probably do) in a spread spectrum mode, each appear to another to be a general increase in the level of noise that should work. Change channels (if possible) not likely to be very effective. Too much noise, radio receiver will not be able to make sense of what he hears.
