Cable Modem and Wireless G Router Linksys Dlink?
Are there compatibility issues with a configuration like this? and a card Belkin wireless. our current network is a Linksys cable modem connected to a linksys b wireless router. all wireless cards are different brands and types. we're just wanting to upgrade to Wireless-G, and the new roommate and have a dlink. thanks for any input.
If you are using to access Internet, then you probably will not have problems with performance, since most cable systems are still less than half the bandwidth of 802.11b. Cards of G must work with them well. We have an RCA modem Cheapo and a Linksys router with g and g I connect to my Microsoft card and a card with an internal g Compaq. If you are trying sent to the network of computers together directly, you might have connection problems in g, using standard accelerator. Just keep it in standard G or B, and probably correct.
