I have experience with Linksys but do not know if they are the best. Plust I would have a coverage area a little better than my old 802.11b router offered …
11b is a bit width for the established industry, 11a, is definitely out. Go pre-N, if the range of a few kilometers expansion really want. 11g to improve network speed. More slave Table access point to the main router is another way to expand coverage.
