What habit my Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router 2.4 GHz work?

Please help. I have tried many times to connect the router, but I can not get work.It connection.I insists that the Internet have followed the installation CD "t". Is there something I'm missing? How I know if the router is broken is that?

Let's use an approach systemantic 1. Make sure your Internet feed is good. Turn the router, PC and modem. Connect the PC via Cat 5 cable modem straight. Turn on the modem, wait at least 0.5 minutes and turn on the PC. If you do not have Internet access, contact your Internet provider, while the PC is connected to the modem and make things fit. 2. Make sure the router works W. LAN cable connection. Turn off your computer and modem. Connect the WAN port of router to the modem directly into wa CAT5 cable. Connect the router LAN port on your PC straight cat 5 cable. Turn on the modem, at least 0.5 minutes later turn on router, at least 0.5 minutes later turn on the PC. After all is stable, check if you have Internet. If not, log manual on the router as directed and address of the WAN and LAN settings correctly. 3. After you can get LAN cable to work, now deal with the configuration wirelessly. Configuring the router using cable. Place the wireless PC in the same room and on the clear line of sight wireless access point. Be sure to follow all directions, including information about safety. All should work.
