How do I know which to download the firmware on my Linksys Router?
Ok, I have a WRT54G Wireless router. My internet goes off and goes every two local months or so, and I think I need a firmware update. On the site, how do I know which version to download? And no where in my router that says the version number. Please help?!
In fact if you can go two months without a reboot of the router, which is in good shape. Many need weekly reboots! Routers are sometimes teams need everything to restore the system rebooted. You can log into the management area router http://192.168.1.1 and check the firmware revision. The router version number (if any) will be on the drive label and in the "Administrator" page server network routers.
