How do I check my router's IP address?

I'm using Linksys WRT54G wireless broadband router. I wanted to configure the router, but i cannot get the setup menu rather than the default web browser 192.168.1.1

Hello, I suppose your computer is running Windows XP. If not, this does not work. Go to Control Panel by clicking the Start button and then click on "Run" – click once inside the white box, delete everything there, then type "control" without the "quotes" and click "OK". Control panel appears. In the control panel, locate and double Left-click "Network Connections" icon. This brings us to the Network Connections window. In this window, locate the link that says "connected" in it. Also or I should say "Local Area Connection" or "wireless network connection. Once you find the one that says "connected" – Double left click directly on the text. A new pop-up window displays information about the connection. Left-click once to support the "card". In this window, find "Default Gateway" with some numbers to the right of it. Those numbers are the router. direction Good Luck!
