Change settings of a Linksys router?
Hello, I have a Linksys Wireless G Router which range from 3 computers and an Xbox 360. The Xbox uses to operate well, then suddenly stopped. The problem is that horribly Xbox 360 despite being in full connectivity green when looking at the network configuration. I was told that the reason for this is because there is a defect in the connections 5 days into the router, so there are too many connections running at once that causes the delay. I was told I change the default value of 5 days to 1 minute. How would I go about doing this and what the consequences of this? I need an in-depth answer, please! Thanks! The Xbox 360 is connected by a wireless adapter, along with two of the teams. (One of them is a laptop) I can not connect with a connection cable, so not an option.
Go to http://192.168.1.1 on your PC and you should be able to access its settings. If that IP does not work, do the following: Start> Run>> cmd OK> type ipconfig / all> look at what it says next to "default gateway"> go there> Win
